It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this site or ordering process meet your specific requirements.  The images used on this website are designed to give a true and fair indication of the type of impression available.  They are not intended to be replicated, due to the unique nature of individual fingerprints/handprints/footprints.

Ordering and Payment
We offer secure online ordering via Paypal, which you can use even if you do not have a Paypal account.   If you have any special requests regarding an order, please do include them on the order confirmation which will be sent with your impression kit, or telephone or email us, and we will be delighted to help.

To ensure safe delivery of your items, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £7 for single items (insured).  Special Delivery will guarantee delivery of your Jewellery by 1pm the following day after posting, and your item will be insured against, loss, theft and damage whilst in the possession of Royal Mail.

Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of placing your order, for a full refund, However, if your Impression Kit has been sent out before you cancel your order, a charge of £5.00 will be made for each Kit. Orders cannot be cancelled on bespoke items once they have been made. If you wish to cancel your order after 7 days, and we have not begun to make your item of Jewellery, a full refund less a Charge of £5.00 per Impression Kit, plus a £10.00 administration charge will be made. Refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation agreement.

Production Time
All our pieces are lovingly handmade, using a 12-step process.  We take great care to ensure that your jewellery is finished to the highest standards possible, and aim to deliver all finished items within 2 weeks of the imprint kit being returned.  However, this lead time may be longer during busy periods, such as Christmas, Mothers Day, and Fathers Day.  If orders are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will keep you informed at all times, and will dispatch your item as soon as possible.  We cannot be responsible for any postage delays which are out of our control.  Cancellation of your personalised order cannot be made if work has already begun on your item(s).
If you do require your order by a specific date, which is within a period of less than 2 weeks lead time, please do contact us and we will discuss whether or not delivery will be possible to meet your required date.  An additional charge may apply for any orders requiring to be made in a period of less than 2 weeks.

Fingerprint Impressions
We will supply enough special clay to take 2 impressions of each fingerprint. You will be required to sign to confirm that you agree to use of the impression being returned.  We will embed an exact copy of this impression into your jewellery, so it is important that you are happy with the impression you have taken, before returning it to us.  If you are not happy with your impressions, please let us know and we will send out another kit at a cost of £5.00.   If, for any reason, a returned impression is deemed unusable, we will contact you to let you know and arrange to send out a new Impression Kit.  

We cannot be held responsible for impressions not being as detailed as the customer may wish, incorrect ordering of an item, or misspelling of names on the order form.

To ensure the quality of your impression, the special clay should be used within 1 week of receipt. If you require a new kit after this period, a charge of £5.00 will be made.  Where the prints from two or more children are to be taken, an additional charge of £5.00 per print will be made, to allow for additional impression clay to be sent.  

Text can be added to the reverse of the silver Charms and Keyrings only, at no extra charge.  Unless it is specifically requested that the text be added to the front of the piece of jewellery, if for whatever reason your requested text will not fit onto the front of your item, we will put it on the back.  

We take great care in the production of your special keepsake, and hope that you will be happy with your jewellery. We will only offer to repair or replace an item that is damaged or faulty.  Where any item contains a mistake which is our error, it will be remade free of charge. We cannot offer returns on personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items. We cannot be held responsible for mis-spelt names, details, or incorrect ordering.

All our Jewellery is quality checked and tested before sending out, please check your Jewellery upon receipt for faults, damage or name misspelling and contact us within 7 days.

Care of your Silver Jewellery
Due to the purity of fine .999 silver, the jewellery is softer than .925 sterling silver.  It is therefore more prone to scratches and signs of wear and tear, and needs to be carefully looked after.  Please note that the black colour within the imprint and text may disappear over time, and with polishing.  

Items should be carefully polished using a silver polish and polishing cloth.  It is recommended that you take care not to polish inside the imprint, so as not to remove the black colour and fine detail of the print.  

The Assay office requires any piece of Silver Jewellery over 7.78g to be officially Hallmarked.  Where any of our pieces are affected by this, the cost of hallmarking is built into the price.  We do not hallmark any pieces under this weight as standard.  However, if you would like a hallmark added to your jewellery, please let us know and this can be arranged for a small charge.  Hallmarking takes approximately 7-10 days therefore please allow for this extra time when ordering.
